All this talk about ‘no knead bread’: the joys and wonders of letting it rise for 18+ hrs and being able to cook it in my Le Creuset 3.5 qt, finally prompted me to test run the loaf this weekend.

And it was a huge success!  It was to accompany a very fine seafood chowder made by a friend and the bread went very well.

I’d recommend testing out herbs and maybe even olives in this bread… it would also be good pre-meal with some balsamic and good olive oil.
